History
The glen contains shieling remains and at least fourteen raised platforms used for charcoal burning. These record seasonal grazing and woodland industries in a place that is now largely empty. The current roofed cottage is separate from those remains. No dependable source gives its construction date, occupants or conversion to a bothy.
